Biography
Meet Ivan
I'm Ivan Maraña, a mentalist and illusionist with over a decade of professional experience. In 2023, my show The butterfly effect at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico City sold out 40 performances, won the Metropolitan Theater Award for Best Solo Performance, and was nominated for Theatrical Experience of the Year.
Although I studied Economics and worked in finance, I discovered that my true mission wasn't with numbers, but in creating experiences that surprise and transform how we perceive reality.
Throughout my career, I've performed in various countries for companies, brands, and private events. I'm a member of The Academy of Magical Arts in Los Angeles, the world's most exclusive magic club, and I studied acting at Stella Adler Academy of Acting.
My work goes beyond amazement: I aim to create moments that last in memory long after they end. Because real magic happens when we open our minds and hearts to connect with others and that's exactly what makes every performance impossible to forget.
